1 Day Chimpanzee trekking Experience in Kibale National Park

The experience begins in Fortportal, where your guide will pick you up at your hotel at 6:40AM. We will then drive 26km to the entrance of Kibale National Park, where we will pay the fee for chimpanzee tracking. From there, we will continue driving 10km inside the park to Kanyancu, where we will register our visit and receive a 15-minute briefing from the National Park Guides. After the briefing, the National Park guides will take you onto the chimpanzee trails. The National Park Rangers track the chimpanzees, so some days the tracking will begin from the briefing spot, on other days we will continue driving into the park to different trailheads. The tracking begins at 8:00AM and ends at 11:00AM (3 hours total). After tracking, your Trek Rwenzori tour guide will bring you back to your hotel. (Approximate trip length: ~5 hours).
